“What if alternative energy isn’t all it’s cracked up to be?” That’s what the Associated Press article following Patrick Moore’s Twitter comment below asks at the outset.

Mr. Moore (Patrick not Michael) observes that the story (which by the way I agree is a “must read”) may mark a major shift in attitudes among the “alternative energy” crowd.

I doubt it.

I don’t think that Michael Moore, no matter his supposed influence, is in any position to change the attitude of the committed environmentalists, who are the principal advocates of “alternative energy”.

Besides, it may be that the AP interpretation of the film is wrong, or at least incomplete.

And in any event, if Michael Moore actually were to take a rational view, he had better watch his back.
